In faithfulness to God’s direction, the Indian Community Church is developing ministries which are meeting real spiritual needs and touching lives on an individual level. There are many year-round opportunities for you to do Gods work by getting personally involved with ministries supported by ICC.
Soul Winning Ministry: “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you.” Mark 5:19. Groups meet at 10:00 A.M at Church on every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of the month to take God’s saving message to our area. We go from door to door to share the good news of Jesus Christ and hand out tracts.
Bible Study: “Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders.” Ps. 119:27. Our goal is to develop mature Christians by studying the Bible in small group settings. There are currently 5 Bible Study groups who meet every Friday at 8:00 P.M at various locations in the bay area.
Sunday School and Nursery: “Train a child the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6. We have Sunday school classes beginning with 2 to 10 years old during the Sunday Service to help them grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer Ministry: “In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be known to God.” Phil 4:6. A group of brothers and sisters involved in the prayer ministry pray for specific needs of the people on every Thursday 8.00 PM at our Church premises. Fasting Prayers: “So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes” Daniel 9:3 we have once a quarter Men’s prayer day and women’s prayer day.
Music Ministry: “Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness” Ps.96:9 Our church choir sings powerful psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs during our services.
Youth Church: Our church believes in investing greatly in the young people of today. Teenagers from Sixth to twelfth grade are taught the Word of God every Sunday evening.
Missions: God has called the Church to passionately proclaim His uncompromising Truth to the entire world. This ministry is supporting missionaries who are leading people in spiritual darkness to discover the light of Christ around the world.
Old Age Home Visitation: Groups meet at 9:30 A.M at local old age facility on every 4th Saturday of the month to take God’s saving message to senior citizens.
Prison Ministry: ICC has partnered with CIC to minister the Love of Christ to the inmates.
Campus Ministry: The Campus Bible Ministry is Bible educational work from ICC for reaching the God’s word to students in around bay area college campuses.
City team ministry: ICC has partnered with City team ministries to demonstrate the Love of Christ to the needy in the bay area, by helping in the kitchen and serving the meals.
Homeless Ministry: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’” Matthew 25: 35-36. Church group meets every 2nd Saturday of the month to provide gospel and food to the needy and homeless.
